Even the thought of being given the opportunity to contribute positively to a child’s future is heart warming. Admissions are open at Scholastic (Ibne Umar Campus) round the year. Admission is granted based on performance in test / interview and is subject to availability of seats. Our admission process leads to correct placement of students, which is in the best interest of students themselves. The figure below outlines that process. For more details, keep reading.
Parents interested in admission of their child(ren) at Scholastic, will be received by an administrator, who will
- brief the parent about the school
- explain the admission process
If the parent is interested in pursuing admission, the administrator will provide:
- application form for admission
- registration fee voucher
- appointment for admission test
Admission test of English and Mathematics is taken for the class which a student is applying for. These assessments are designed to gauge the skill set and the concepts, and are later helpful in devising the individual development plan for the student.
The administrator arranges for a meeting between the parent and the Principal. This meeting is expected to coincide with the admission test.
The respective teachers grade the test and give their collective recommendation to the Principal, who makes the final decision.
Once a student is admitted, the administrator provides the following:
- fee voucher
- booklist
- guidance regarding uniform
As a matter of policy, the child is ONLY allowed to sit in his class when
- either confirmation is received from bank regarding fee deposit
- or the parent shows the paid fee voucher
